Spirit of Iron is an independent game development studio founded in early 2011 by Michael Powell, for the purpose of producing a video game containing a unique combination of RPG, action, strategy and creative building elements, set in a procedurally generated fantasy world. This site is devoted to documenting the development process.

The first step on this road has been developing the game engine, the Genesis Engine, capable of generating and simulating a believable fantasy world at a very large scale, and rendering that world in a way which does justice to it's scope and detail.
